About the Event
Piggy Hill Art Studio is a Link Up teacher for homeschoolers in "The Orchestra Sings" - a music education program provided by Carnegie Hall’s Weill Music Institute in conjunction with the Lancaster Symphony Orchestra.
Link Up is a hands-on music program for elemtary students that explores orchestral repertoire in weekly classes while preparing students to listen, sing, and even play their recorders, culminating with a live Lancaster Symphony Orchestra concert!
Weekly, 45 minute classes will be held on Fridays beginning March 10th at Piggy Hill Art Studio in Strasburg. May 16 Concert will be held at MCCASKEY HIGH SCHOOL IN DOWNTOWN LANCASTER.
Cost $100
Kids may play their own violins or soprano recorders. Recorders can be provided at an extra cost if needed.
